Charlie's Angels Exclusive: Lost Alum Cast As a Not-So-Heavenly Father

John Terry aka Lost‘s Christian Shephard is making a date with some Angels — and once again playing a confounding father.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Terry will appear on ABC’s new Charlie’s Angels as Victor Sampson, the dad of cat burglar-turned-Angel Abby (played by Rachael Taylor). A former Wall Street titan, Victor is now behind bars for fraud, thus estranged from his daughter — until, that is, she needs some information from him to crack a case.

Terry is set to guest star in the series’ second episode, though the role could become recurring — especially given the terms Victor gives Abby in exchange for his help. After ushering Lost‘s Jack to… wherever… Terry was most recently seen on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters.

  • Not at all who I expected them to cast in the role, but I really liked him on Brothers and Sisters so this is pretty cool

  • Terry always playing the role of “father figure”. He was Jack’s presumed dead pop on LOST and he also played the torment father to Kate Warner and their evil relative turned terrorist Marie on the second season of “24″. Guess John Terry always have Daddy issues.

  • I hope he remembers to wear his shoes this time. It’s not the island anymore.

  • Wouldn’t Alan Dale (Lost, The OC, Neighbors)make a good Charlie?

  • I like John since I saw him for the first time as Felix in “The Living Daylights” but this wayward or crooked or whatever father bit is getting kind of old already
