TVLine Items: Jersey Shore's Boozy Italy Video, Two New AMC Returns, Thrones Casting, More!

Poor Italy. MTV has released its first full-length preview of Jersey Shore‘s Season 4 trip abroad (premiering Thursday, Aug. 4), and there are just no words.

Snooki & Co. certainly put little to no effort into treating the European country with the respect it deserves, but if it’s Shore antics you want, it’s Shore antics you’ll get. There’s drinking and dancing, and fighting and tanning, and bad Italian accents… everything you could ever hope for in a classy summer show. Take a peek at the promo below:

Stephen Dillane seems like a decent choice for Stannis. I was hoping for Mark Strong, but oh well. Carice van Houten is definitely beautiful enough for Melisandre, and her looks remind me a little of Cate Blanchett, which hopefully bodes well.

  2. Daniel says:

Wow… Jersey SHore will be nastier, funnier, sexier than ever. Boobs, whores and musclear dudes.. What else can we ask for?

Mike, “I’m going back to my roots.” He’s NOT ITALIAN! These people make my blood boil. And crowd up my beach all summer.

    • Bob says:

Just a bunch of wanna-be Italians. Besides, they’re no different than the typical American tourist in Europe. Lived their entire lives within a 20-mile radius of where they were born. Don’t know much about the world outside of that area. Then drop them in a foreign country and you get “Where’s the ice?”, “Where’s the nearest McDonald’s?”, “Why are the hotel rooms so small?” And on and on.

  5. Danielle H. says:

A 3 hr premiere for a low rent reality show is pathetic. Come on, ABC! It isn’t even on DWTS level in terms of popularity (which I can’t stand anymore either).

    Bring back all original television!

Those losers can’t even spell respect, even with the help of Aretha Franklin! “Who” They ask??? :-(
