TVLine Items: Parks and Rec By the Book, Voice Judges Just Duet, and More News to Know

Ready for the best news since the Meat Tornado? NBC is releasing Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America, a new Parks and Recreation book about — what else? — the greatest town in America!

“If you like small towns with big ideas, this book is for you!” says Amy Poehler, who alter-ego Leslie Knope acts as author of the bound-to-be award-winning publication. “And here’s hoping that Indianapolis will play Pawnee when they turn this book into a movie!”

Each chapter of the book will explore a different factoid about the faux town, peppered with commentary from your favorite Parks and Rec characters. Pawnee hits shelves on October 4.
