Scoop: Fox's Terra Nova Taps Tudors Star

British actor Rod Hallett, best known for his role on Showtime’s The Tudors, has landed a full-time gig on Fox’s upcoming prehistoric drama Terra Nova.

The series revolves around an ordinary family — Jim Shannon (Jason O’Mara), his wife Elisabeth (Shelley Conn) and their kids — who go on a journey back in time as part of a daring experiment to save the human race.

  • As much as I love a good joke at the expense of an overly dramatic Showtime original, I’m not sure the title is supposed to say that.
