How is Blue Bloods a bubble show again? It’s about a hit as a hit can get — showed strength on 2 different days of the week, became an anchor on a Friday and has made the most money for any new series this year in foreign sales.

Matt Thank you for everything you do in getting us the scoop and ratings on Smallville every week. It has been really appreciated!

  4. Kelly says:

Kudos to the writers/showrunners of both CSI: NY & Blue Bloods for resisting the urge to end on cliffhangers. Both shows had very satisfying endings that would work nicely as a series wrap just as much as a season wrap. Hope CSI: NY comes back, wouldn’t mind if Blue Bloods did (they’re a nice Friday night pair), but if they don’t? At least fans won’t be wondering what happened.

It’s a change of pace that would be nice to see echoed in other scripted TV. Cliffhangers should be rare, rather than expected.

    VERY disappointing numbers for Smallville….

Huge Blue Bloods fan! Hope they renew. Tom Is great in this show. as well as Danny & the rest of the cast. A must see in my book for fall. Don’t watch Smallville or CSI NY, but CSI Miami is my #1! Hope they cxl NY and move Miami to it’s time slot.

Good lord, CSI:Miami is the worst of the spinoffs. I cannot remember a time where I hated an entire cast. Just a poorly acted series altogether. Having said this, I know that it has its fans. So I would never hope that it is canceled just because *I* don’t like it. That type of thinking would make me a SELFISH person. I also find that kind of thinking incredibly moronic, right Jean10brook? No, I just DON’T WATCH IT. Pretty simple really.

  7. Kelly says:

CSI NY seemed like a series finale to me. I hope not! And Blue Bloods was awesome!!!!! Glad it did so well even though it was not mentioned in the article’s title or pictured :( Top show of the night deserves better Matt!

  8. Marco A B Campos says:

Blue Bloods is a great show and I hope it be renewed. Tom Selleck is making his best job ever. CSY:NY had its best season this year. Gary Sinise is great. We want to see MacTaylor again.

  9. Dee says:

Yeah, the numbers were disappointing for Smallville but it was a great few last minutes.

Now I hope Tom and Justin and all the other actors from this show can find something else to do. Preferably on a network that actually gets viewers :)

Watched the finale of Blue Bloods and I’m glad they finally solved Joe’s murder. I thought it was touching at the end how the Reagans were all the cemetery, paying their respects to their loved ones. Now they have closure on Joe’s behalf.

LOVED the series finale of Smallville. I’ve been a fan since the first season and have never ever missed an episode. It was worth the wait to Clark finally fly and wear the Superman suit. I could go on and on for hours about how much I enjoyed the two hour finale but I won’t. :D

I have to say… I’m confused… so having over 3 millions viewers for a series finale… being able to match their best season record.. is good?? How exactly is that?? I think the ratings would have “soared” if they have gotten the best numbers in the past.. I don’t know, 2 or 3 seasons??

To me, having equal to their best season rating, with the finale of the 10 years show… well is not good. Of course the episode was awful so who can blame them!!! Be well
