TVLine Items: L&O Nabs Hero and Mad Man, Big Brother's Return, and More TV News to Know

Law & Order: CI‘s final (?) season is officially underway, and a few good men are dropping by the long-running USA Network procedural during its swan song.

Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) and Bryan Batt (Mad Men) are set to guest star on an upcoming episode of CI, titled “The Nose,” TVGuide.com reports. The two actors will play suspects in the case of a high-end wine connoisseur’s death.

Ready for more of today’s TV dish? Well…

• A new season of CBS’ Big Brother premieres Thursday, July 7, and will run in its typical three-nights-a-week time slots on Wednesdays at 8/7c, Thursdays at 9, and Sundays at 8. Additionally, Same Name — a new series in which celebs trade places with strangers who have the (you guessed it!) same name — debuts Sunday, July 24.

Lost‘s Nestor Carbonell will appear in an episode of FX’s buzzy new comedy, Wilfred, reports EW.com. The Island’s ageless wonder will play a doctor in the Elijah Wood-starring sitcom, premiering June 23.

• Helena Cassadine, aka Port Charles’ baddest bitch in (and out of) town, is baaack. Constance Towers returns to ABC’s General Hospital the week of June 27, says TV Guide Magazine, just in time to meddle (again!) in Aiden’s paternity reveal.

• WE tv has ordered a second season of Broxton Family Values, per Deadline, starring onetime R&B star, Toni Braxton.

I see that Tamar did everything possible to ensure that show gets renewed. Her loud mouth typical ghetto fab Black woman act got the executives happy. I love Trina. She’s the realest and prettiest. Thank goodness she never got any plastic surgery. I still can’t believe that tranny older sister of hers called her “large”. Trina is nowhere near large. That’s why that Tranny’s husband don’t want her.

General Hospital is in the toliet. As long as they have kids kidnapped just because the child’s mother blinks her eye for a second then have the mothers blame themselves but the man who runs over the child doesn’t see any jail time at all, that show will be canceled soon. This show worships men and treats women like second class citizens. None of them can get along and they worship their boyfriends like gods (talkin to you Lulu). This show sucks. Get that red haired lucky charm girl off that show. Let Helena kill her.
