Gossip Girl Exclusive First Look: Watch Dan and Chuck Battle Over Blair

Gossip Girl returns from its two month-long hiatus tonight with the first of five all-new episodes and an answer to this burning question: Dan and Blair kissed — now what?!

Well, based on the following exclusive clip from the eppy, the smooch leads to what I can only assume will be the first of several tense encounters between Dan and B’s ex Chuck. The following scene also confirms what I long suspected: Dan has genuine feelings for his onetime nemesis.

Noone gets Blair like Chuck does, he understands the games she’s played he understands how she’s acts tougher than she is, He’s always been there for her and yes he’s messed up but that only makes him human, blair’s messed up too so noones perfect. They need each other they bounce of eachother they love each other, Dan wants B 2 be the person he thinks she is not who she really is

The person who makes you happy the most can also be the one who hurt you the most.
Blair loves Chuck more than anything else, so obviously anything he says/does will have greater impact on her than anyone ever will.
Like they said, there is the “right love” and the ones that make you go crazy.
Dan may share similar interests with Blair, but in the end, that’s just the definition of “friendship”. They get along, they have light conversations about books and movies, but that’s just what “friends” do.
Chuck on the other hand, makes Blair truly happy from within. Sure they have their little love/hate relationship, and play mind games with each other, but that just goes to show how similar they are in “character” rather than just having similar “interests”. And that’s what makes them so perfect as a couple.
