American Pie‘s Chris Klein has booked a multi-episode arc on FX’s forthcoming Elijah Wood-fronted comedy Wilfred, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.

The series, based on the hit Australian sitcom of the same name, revolves around a guy (Wood), a girl (Californication‘s Fiona Gublemann), and a human/dog hybrid named Wilfred (Jason Gann, reprising his role from the Aussie original).

Klein, who recently guest-starred on Fox’s The Good Guys, will play a love interest for Gublemann’s character.

    • I know! He’s boring and not particularly talented. They could do much better.

  • Of all the horrible actors from American Pie, Chris Kline is by far the worst, and yet, he seems to be getting some of the most work among them. He has an annoying voice that’s almost like Kermit the Frog, the look of a royal douche-nozzle and such a lack of acting talent that its immeasurable. He must be performing some damn good fellatio for some seriously desperate casting directors.
