7th Heaven‘s Barry Watson has been tapped to join Christine Taylor in the TV Land comedy pilot Rip City.
Written and exec produced by Lizzie McGuire creator Terri Minsky, the office-set sitcom revolves around an Ivy League-educated woman (Taylor) who moves to Oregon to work at a beverage company called Rip City Cola. Watson will play Taylor’s colleague and potential love interest.
Watson most recently costarred in ABC’s late, often-great Christina Applegate comedy Samantha Who?

Could be good. I loved him in Samantha Who?
Love him! I hope this works for him! I was sad Samantha Who and What About Brian got cancelled.
He was excellent in the movie Sorority Boys too, also starring Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville’s Lex Luthor). Raunchy hilarity with an actual story!
He was hilarious in “Samantha Who” (as was everyone else in the cast). Good luck to him with this.
Loved him in both Samantha Who and What About Brian – more than I thought I would actually! Dude deserves a show that isn’t whacked when it’s getting good, fingers crossed for him.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD NEWS! Just bring back Samantha Who instead! Should never have been cancelled, was only cancelled becasue it was getting ‘too expensive’ but then they brought ‘Hank’ on ABC instead! Terrible idea! Ok yes i do love him and ai cant wait to see this new show but still!
love 7th heaven he is cute to but he is an asome acter God Bless
