Baby... Baby? Chuck Bosses Reveal Plan for Sarah Lancaster's Real-Life Pregnancy

Will Chuck cast member Sarah Lancaster‘s awesome real-life news — the brand-new bride is pregnant with her and husband Matthew Jacobs’ first child — translate into doubly awesome news for her TV alter ego, who in this week’s episode became a first-time mom herself?

Yes, the NBC action-dramedy sometimes thrusts ahead at a quick clip. But not in this particular instance. “We will be working around her pregnancy,” Chuck cocreator Chris Fedak confirms for TVLine, nipping in the bud any speculation that Ellie and Awesome will be hurried into expanding their family further.

As series cocreator Josh Schwartz puts it, “Captain Awesome is awesome, but he is not that virile.”

Congrats to Sarah and her husband.

If only they could line up the season with her pregnancy :P Would be VERY realistic.

Congrats to her and her family.

Actually thought that would have been a great twist on the old pregnant-then-baby TV routine. I could’ve easily pictured Captain Awesome coping with brand-new parenthood AND a second baby on the way.
