White Collar Flashback: Things Will Get Hairy!

This week on USA Network’s White Collar (Tuesdays at 10/9c), the latest twist in the music box mystery will prompt both Peter and Neal to reflect on the past.

Namely, we’ll see how Neal came to meet Mozzie and Kate (played by Alexandra Daddario), and also get a front row seat to the crafty Mr. Caffrey’s first arrest.

And yes, viewers will also be treated to “more facial hair,” promises Tim DeKay, who sports a soup strainer in the flashback scenes. “What did we call it — ‘Magnum Peter’?”

Says Matthew Bomer, “Any time we get to see Peter’s ‘stache is always a good episode for me. I think it looks great on Tim.”

Alas, Mrs. Suit seems to disagree, as seen in the video promo below.

In addition to Neal sporting his own retro look — “They let me shave and have more of a period hairdo” — Bomer says, “We definitely get to see who he was, and how he came to create his persona gets clarified in a lot of ways. We see the origins of a lot of relationships, which is really interesting.”

Perhaps just as interesting as Mozzie’s ginormous toupee (!) and goatee (!!). Watch this video sneak peek for more:

I’m glad to finally meet Kate in a flashback. Hopefully I’ll understand why Neal loved her now. It’s hard to care about him solving the mystery because I didn’t feel the connection between them.

Ok….just a small rant…and let me say this isn’t the only site that does this….but I really wish you guys would stop saying you have a “sneak peek” of the upcoming episode when really all you have is the teaser promo. If I can see the footage at least four times in a two hour period by just flipping my tv to USA Network, then it’s not a “sneak peek.” Ok…just had to say that.

Thank You! I was excited to see a sneak peek only to find that it was the same commercial from the end of last week’s episode. That said, I cannot wait to see the full thing tomorrow night.
