Exclusive: Raising Hope Reels In My Name is Earl Sidekick Eddie Steeples!

Crabman is back!

Eddie Steeples — best known as Jaime Pressly’s hashish-loving hubby Darnell “Crabman” Turner on My Name is Earl — has booked a guest stint on Fox’s Raising Hope. The gig reunites Steeples with his former Earl boss (and Hope creator) Greg Garcia.

No word on Steeples’ character or when his episode is scheduled to air.

Garcia has wasted no time inserting Earl alums into his latest white trash, er, working class success story. In November, Jason Lee played a faded ’80s rock star named Smokey Floyd.

Hope, which Fox recently picked up for a second season, returns with all-new episodes on Feb. 8.

  • Now Dale Dickey needs to guest and we’ll have a mini WINTER’S BONE (Garrett Dillahunt) reunion.

  • I want TV’s Tim Stack to show up!!!! “I got 73 IMDB credits. I’d have 74 but they screwed me on a Quincy two parter.”

    • If you look at the credits, you will see Tim Stack is on the show as a consulting producer. Just thought you should know; also they should’ve never cancelled My Name is Earl!! Who is Earl Jr.’s real father? Is Dodge Earl’s kid? So many questions!!! But I love Raising Hope.

  • I love this show. Quirky and endearing. Maybe they need a “Cops” episode too.
